Eastern Tennis Review

Editorial policy

Eastern Tennis Review aims to make tennis easier to understand without flattening its history or variety. We work to explain claims plainly, distinguish fact from interpretation and correct the record when needed.

Accuracy and sources

Writers should check factual claims against reliable material appropriate to the subject, and make the basis of specific or disputed claims clear to readers. We do not present speculation as fact. Where a topic has differing interpretations or traditions, we say so rather than imply one account speaks for everyone.

Independence and conflicts

Editorial decisions are made for reader value and relevance to tennis, not to secure favourable coverage. Contributors should disclose interests that could affect a piece, and the publication may decline or reshape work where independence cannot be maintained.

Corrections

If you spot an error, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and the point at issue. We review correction requests and make appropriate changes, clarifying material errors rather than silently leaving readers with a misleading account.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid, sponsored or partner-supported material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when an illustration is AI-generated, that status is identified.
